Well it's May already and I cannot help wondering where the year has gone? It's been a busy year so far with lots of lovely new clients deciding to become a #Gwennebride at #GwenneEdinburgh.
We have found our Ronald Joyce dresses selling well and our Margarett gowns too. I love the fact that everyone customises their Margarett gowns too.
This year the trend was supposed to be Boho but that's not really what is happening instore at #GwenneEdinburgh....it's very fitted this year and we are seeing the use of colour in gowns starting to become popular. Whilst I think it's good as a shop to be on trend in our buying I think it's more important that our clients buy what they love and what they feel special in..after all it would be boring if we only bought what fashion dictated! Nice to be an individual.
David Tutera is a brand that's been a slow starter in Edinburgh but we have decided to stick with it and we have his new collection due inhouse in August. I am really excited about these gowns as we have some lovely sparkly gowns, a pale blue one and a lovely mint coloured lace gown. They are really good classic shapes but with a wee bit of uniqueness. I have added a sneak preview below.
I vowed this year to be more frequent with my blogging but usually time overtakes me. I love being busy and to be honest I
would rather be spending time with my customers than just writing about it ;) but I will try harder ....
Thanks for all your support and business, Gwenne xx
